Meet the team

Matt has more than two decades of experience in the motor trade, having worked for main franchise dealers before setting up his own family business in 2018. His vision for Matt Johnson Prestige is that the dealership becomes one of the UKs premium retailers of cars, by offering exceptional levels of customer service.  Matt believes that buying a new motor car should be a stress-free, exciting experience and everything he does is geared towards this. Outside of work, Matt is a sports enthusiast and family man. He loves nothing more than spending time at home with his wife, children, their pet cat - and herd of sheep. On days of particularly high mood, you can find him wandering about the showroom in full voice.

Aaron is our man of many hats, as he works to support his colleagues across Matt Johnson Prestige. As Site Manager, Aaron takes huge pride in the appearance of our forecourt and showroom and works hard to ensure both are beautifully presented. He's on hand to accept new stock deliveries and also to support with the preparation of vehicles for collection or delivery. Aaron is time-served in the motor trade and has 10-plus years of experience in working with family-owned businesses. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his young family - and is an occasional honey salesman when his family apiary produces its seasonal nectar.

Ben's desire to help our clients find their perfect match is inexhaustible. He has outstanding knowledge of our stock and loves nothing more than spending time showing customers around our range of vehicles. The motor industry is second nature to Ben; he is the fourth generation of his family for all things linked to cars and car Motor Retail, his passion is very evident should you share a minute with him. Ben is the Elder of the two Stoker brothers we have on our sales team. The Dynamic, work ethic and customer focus they both share, translates to a relaxed friendly approach resulting in a superb customer experience. When he's not hard at work Ben enjoy's travelling, playing football and spending time in the gym.

The motor trade runs through Jack's veins and he is the fourth generation of his family to have a passion for all things linked to cars and car sales. Jack is a member of the sales team here at Matt Johnson Prestige and spends his time working with clients to help them find their dream car.  He also works with our buying team to secure the very best stock across the UK. Expect fantastic customer service and good craic if you spend time looking for your new car with Jack - who has a fantastic knowledge of all makes and models. Outside of work, Jack makes the occasion foray onto the football field where he claims to be a top talent

Amanda is the administrative glue that holds many of the processes together at Matt Johnson Prestige. She supports the sales team, ensuring that all deals are completed on time with the correct paperwork in place. Amanda is also on hand to support with the transfer of cherished number plates - making the process of buying your new car with Matt Johnson Prestige as smooth as possible. If you call into our showroom to collect your new vehicle, make sure you say hello. Amanda will be the one surrounded by files and paperwork! Outside of MJP, Amanda enjoys walking, travelling and reading.

It is often said by our clients that when a car leaves the forecourt at Matt Johnson Prestige, it does so in showroom condition.Step forward our Head Detailer, Malcolm, who works tirelessly to ensure every vehicle reaches its new owner in fantastic condition both inside and out. Malcolm is without question of the top detailers in the UK and nothing escapes his eagleeye. He works alongside his son in the MJP valet and detailing centre, ensuring his decades of experience are passed down the line. When he's not at work, Malcolm spends his time having some well-earned R&R and spending time on days out with his family.

The pace of working life at Matt Johnson Prestige is incredibly fast, as customers move quickly to snap up their dream car from our extensive and competitively priced inventory. But car nut Darren, who works as a valeter and detailer, soaks up the pressure with ease, working hard to ensure every vehicle is prepared to a fantastic standard. The valet and detailing centre at MJP is something of a family affair, as Darren works under the tutelage of his dad, Malcolm. And what a fantastic team this father and son combo make. When Darren is not hard at work, he spends time with, you guessed it, cars and enjoysattending car shows and expos.

Rob is never happier than when in his workshop ensuring every car on the Matt Johnson Prestige forecourt is in perfect mechanical order. A time-served mechanic, Rob has been Matt’s trusted right-hand man for all things vehicle maintenance-related for many years. Attention to detail is crucial here at MJP and from our purpose-built modern workshop, Rob ensures all vehicles are serviced and prepared to the highest possible standard. He’s on hand to help and advise, should anything happen during your new car’s warranty period. Outside of work, Rob is a family man and enjoys nothing more than spending time with his wife and two children. His love for all things petrol continues - and he loves spending time riding motorbikes with his son.
